Christmas Tree Motif---Motif # 2

I'm so glad to recieve positive response on my first motif. Thank you all who visited me! I'm so glad that got 3 permanent guests who follow me! So Thank you all again for you time! Your comments and feedback keeps me going...

My second motif for 25 motif challenge is pattern that I took from a book called "Big Book of Tatting", by Darlene Polachic. I purchased this book from Michael's long time ago. I have the pattern if you are interested. Let me know. I didn't knew how to link it to the blog from my computer.

I did some variation to it. I used two colors instead of one. You can still notice some imperfections around hiding the last ends. I think I need some serious help to learn how to hide ends. Pour in suggestions!

Oh, I have that book, I'll have to look for it. I love tatting in two colors, too. It's fun. It looks so nice and Christmassy!

Thanks! I did some work in two colors some time ago. I made some embellishment lace for my Mom-in-law's outfit. I don't have the picture of it to share... too bad! Thanks, for paying a visit!

Ooh! I have that book too! I'll have to check out the pattern. I like the two colors together.

Try this method of sewing in ends (it's from Jane E's techniques pages)
http://www.users.globalnet.co.uk/~nickeb/sewends.htm
or try looking at Sharon Briggs' "magic thread" demo at
http://www.gagechek.com/slb/demo/demo.html
Or look for Magic Thread on the tips page at Tat's All:
http://www.tatsall.ca/tips.htm
I'd give you some links to the on-line tatting class techniques pages hosted by Georgia Seitz, but her websites are down right now.
I hope these help.
